A spiritual successor to Is This what we need?
I often find myself frustrated at how limited I feel sometimes when I try to make a movie. I feel like I don’t have the resources to express what I want, like I am trying to speak a language I don’t understand yet.
Take this film for example, I don’t think it says as much as I want a film of it’s length to say, but it feels like there are some of the words I am trying to say in there somewhere. I see it a little when I squint and tilt my head.
